FSW50 Wrapping Solution for Industrial Filtration Manufacturer

Our customer manufactures Industrial filtration products and ships the product to their customers around Australia and south-east Asia.

They were looking for two new wrapping machines to allow for in an increase in production, reduce packaging costs and product damage during transport.

FROMM Packaging worked directly with the Manufacturing and Despatch Managers to design a wrapping solution to exceed their production requirements. FROMM Packaging installed two FSW50 Pallet Wrapping Machines. The stand lone systems when placed back to back allowed easy interaction with warehouse staff and could easily accommodate the 160 pallet per day output requirement. 

Using remote control operation, wrapping can be initiated whilst staff are still on the forklift, providing significant boosts to efficiency and reduce WH&S safety risks.

The 200% pre-stretch film delivery system meant that one metre of film on the roll became three metres when wrapped. The customer opted to use the FROMM manufactured film due to its clarity and puncture resistance. Not to mention the significant reduction in operational expenses

Overall the two new FSW50 Wrapping Machines have increased production throughput, decreased overall cost per pallet wrapped, reduced the amount of product damage in transit and finally it has increased packaging staff morale.

FROMM will service the two machines on a 6 monthly basis to ensure wrapping efficiency.
