Wrapping Machine solution for milk powder exporter
Our client operates from three warehouses located in Sydney and Melbourne and they export milk powder to China. Due to the high monetary value of every pallet sent, they were looking for a robust wrapping machine to apply the correct stretch wrap containment with the added benefit of inbuilt weight scales.
FROMM Packaging supplied each warehouse with FROMM Wrapping Machines with inbuilt weight scales and forkstop was installed to protect the turntable from damage.
The Wrapping Machine allows you to wrap and weigh your goods in one process. Resulting in faster product throughput and distribution. They feature Single motor pre-stretch head, automatic pallet height detection sensor, Soft start and stop, Top and bottom wraps selector, Chain driven turntable, Cycle counter and programmable wrapping patterns.
Due to the light sensitive and perishable nature of the product FROMM recommended and supplied premium Black Stretch Film. The stretch film and Stretch Wrapping Machines when combined, create 200% power pre stretch film capability, 1m of film = 3m after stretch. Providing significant stretch film savings.
Overall the six new Wrapping Machines and Black Stretch Film have increased production throughput, decreased overall cost per pallet wrapped and reduced the amount of product damage in transit.
FROMM will service the wrapping machines on a 6 monthly basis to ensure wrapping efficiency.
